Tangentine is taking a short break

Please read my store policies below and do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or need clarification on my policies.
Tangentine seemed like an appropriate name when I started thinking about selling my jewellery. It does not matter how hard I try to stay focused, I always find myself off on a Tangent.
All items in my shop are handmade by me in my studio in Darmstadt, Germany.

Payment
Tangentine does not consider a purchase complete until the payment has been received. I reserve the right to cancel unpaid orders unless we've made a different arrangement.
If you would like to cancel an order after you've paid for it, we will refund the total cost if it has not been shipped yet.
If we receive a cancellation after we've shipped the item, we will refund the item when we receive it back.
Shipping
I try to fulfill orders on the next working day but sometimes it can take up to 48 working hours. Items purchased on weekends will ship on Mondays.
Tangentine charges a flat fee, based on your location, for shipping of all small items and jewellery. If I list a larger item that has a higher shipping cost I will put the shipping cost in that listing.
With international purchases it can take up to 6 weeks for a product to be delivered but in general it should be delivered sooner. I am required by law to include a customs form and cannot mark a purchase as a gift. You should be aware that you may be charged duty by the postal carrier.
Shipments within the EU is usually very quick.
Please note that your country of residence may charge you import duty when you purchase items from another country. The customs charge is the responsibility of the buyer (you) so it is advisable to check the custom rules of your country before purchasing from overseas.

Listing photos
I generally photograph items under natural light and try to keep them as close to life as possible. But monitors vary so it may look slightly different on your screen than in real life. In general I try to take at least one photo with my macro lens that actually shows more detail than you can see with the naked eye. But it is important to me to show my products as well as I am able to.
